The Environmental Protection Agency, Region 8, Outreach and Education Program offers free virtual and in-classroom presentations to communities, teachers and students on a variety of environmental topics. Presentations can be tailored for any age group and can be offered at any time. Popular topics include food waste, recycling, conservation, air quality, and water quality. We can create presentations to support your curriculum.

We are seeking information/contacts on possible summer events and opportunities for environmental/conservation presentations. Some possible venues may be summer camps, summer school programs, summer community events, etc. If you know of any contacts/events, please send them to Wendy.

EPA also has lesson plans, activity books, pre-recorded presentations, and educational games available. We can possibly host an EPA booth at your event!

We can assist with Science Fair or Agriscience Fair judging and STEM panels/project discussions.

EPA Region 8 offers informal mentorships to young people who are interested in finding out more about environmental/conservation issues, projects and scientific careers. Students are matched with a subject matter expert who can discuss with the students their environmental questions or learning paths.
