Are you looking for a way to engage your students in an Earth Day project or a fun year-end student challenge? Participate in the Green Cup RECYCLE Challenge from April 1 – May 12 and compete with schools around the nation to help reduce waste and clean the earth.

Participating schools compete for Bin Points by “recycling right” — improving recycling compliance rates and decreasing contamination. Weekly bin surveys provide instant feedback on your recycling efforts — no weighing required. It’s an easy, fun way to improve your recycling program and make a difference!
• Earn bin points by choosing the right bin:
Trash in the trash bin and recyclables in the recycling bins
• Earn waste reduction bonus points for extra credit:
Green purchasing, Composting and E-waste recycling
Schools will earn one of the following Green Cup Action Levels!
Recycling SUSPERSTAR = Most Improved
Recycling HEROES = 90-110 points
Recycling STEWARD = 70-89 points
Recycling ALLY = Fewer than 70 points
